Job Description

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Inventory Clerk to join their client's team in California. This role is vital for ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of shipping and inventory processes. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining smooth operations and supporting the overall supply chain management.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process incoming shipments, verifying accuracy and condition of goods.
  • Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse, ensuring items are stored properly and labeled accurately.
  • Coordinate and prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring all orders are picked, packed, and shipped according to customer specifications.
  • Update and maintain inventory records using the company's inventory management system.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and address any discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve any shipping or inventory-related issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory management preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment is a plus.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software and basic computer applications.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.

Work Hours:

Monday - Friday, 7:30 am -4:30 pm
